Custom built 1980s textured sideboard in great vintage condition. It’s incredible! Sourced from a fantastic house in Melbourne's south east as part of a larger collection late last year, this beauty was hand made to match with inbuilt curved oak joinery when the property was built, and is incredibly well crafted and unique. A statuesque piece - it features the most incredible textured fronts, each composed with a number of hand cut solid oak pieces to create an almost faceted effect. It offers one double door cupboard with adjustable shelf, 3 drawers and a top opening compartment for extra storage. As it was custom made to suit the house and fit along a skirting board, the base is slightly different on one side (please see pics). It shows some wear consistent with age, namely some marks on the top, a veneer repair and small spot of unevenness on one of the cupboard fronts - please see pics.
