Custom 1980s brass inlay desk + stool in very good condition. These pieces were custom made to match with inbuilt curved oak joinery in a house in Melbourne's south east, and are incredible well made and unique. The curved shapes are unbelievable, the twin brass inlay detail that runs longways across the whole piece is a standout! A stunning slimline piece used in the bedroom as a dressing table or desk, would also work in an entry way as a console table with storage. We are selling with the matching stool because we cannot bear to separate - a normal desk chair also fits well underneath. Some wear consistent with age, mainly a few marks and wear on the top, drawers are perfect, this was cut in to fit over skirting boards, there is one small veneer repair on the back foot. The stool shows some wear on the top.
